Why is Parentkind supplying printing services?

We want to make sure that we provide members with the best support and services we can as part of your membership package. We’ve received feedback from our members that they want printing services that provide good quality products at a great price and in the right volumes. We have undertaken a thorough selection process and decided to work with Aquatint who we believe offer all of these benefits.

What products are available?

Members have told us that they want access to products in three broad categories to support your events:-

  1. Pre-Event – everything you might need to promote an event such as posters, flyers, banners and invites.
  2. Staging an event – all the things that you need to help put on the event eg. branded gazeebos, helper PTA t-shirts, tablecloths.
  3. Branded items to sell – great money-making branded mugs, pencil cases, umbrellas, water bottles, bags, which the children (or adults) can buy for themselves or as gifts and presents.

We hope this covers most items that you might need but if you have suggestions for additional items please do email us at [email protected] and we will see if we can locate them for future orders.

What’s not available?

We aren’t able to supply individually child designed Christmas cards or items that need to be individually named like end of year hoodies. All items are sold with a single image (which you provide) and are then available for order in the quantities indicated. If you are looking for these types of services please refer to the PTA supplier section of the website.

Am I purchasing from Parentkind?

No, your purchase contract is with Aquatint BSC Limited.

Registering and Account Details

What documents do I need to register?

You will need, contact details for the person you want to register, your Parentkind Membership number. In addition, when placing an order you will need an online payment method and a hi-res copy of the logo you wish to use either in PDF format. Hi-res minimum would typically mean 300dpi.

Where can I find my Parentkind Membership number?
  • Please log in to the my account area on, your membership number can be found on the right hand side of the page.

  • Your membership number can also be found on the top of any email correspondence we have sent to you.

Do we need to register to place an order?

Yes, all members need to register when making a purchase. You can browse the range of products available, item costs and volumes before registering.

Who needs to register?

You register as an individual user for an account and your PTA can register as many individual accounts as you need. However, the designs and orders will be recorded against those individual accounts and so only accessible by the registered individual. If you would like to view previous orders and re-use previously uploaded logos and designs, we suggest registering with an account user name and password that you are happy to share with your fellow committee members.

Can we change who is registered as the point of contact for our PTA?

No, accounts are provided on individual user basis so if you are unable to access previously registered accounts you will need to register again. Aquatint may be able to source previously used design and logos and upload these to your new account but this isn’t guaranteed.

Can I view previous orders and re-order?

Yes, you can, by accessing the ‘previous order’ section of your account you can view previous orders, select them, amend volume and place a new order.

What happens to my data?

All data collected is used in compliance with applicable laws.

  • Aquatint will not market or send any correspondence unless in relation to an order which has been placed through the website.
  • Aquatint may contact you to notify you changes of terms and conditions or anything else relating to the administration of your registered account with them.

Sales data on anonymous basis will be shared with Parentkind so that the service and range of products can be altered to best serve the Parentkind PTA membership.


How long does it take to design an item?

The online tool is very intuitive and allows multiple changes and adjustments to be made. Designs typically take 10-15 minutes.

Can I see a preview copy?

Yes, using the online design tool you will be able to fully customise your products, location and size of the logo.

Can I get some help uploading our school or PTA logo?

Yes, the Aquatint helpline is available on 020 8947 8571 or [email protected] from 9.00 to 17:00. One of the design team will be happy to walk you through the uploading process and be able to advise on the suitability and use of the logo.

I’ve submitted my order, do any further checks take place?

Yes, your design will go through Aquatint’s checking process where a designer will review your order for clarity of logo, size and positioning. If when reviewing, the designer believes that any of the design elements mean the product you receive will be not what is expected they will:-

  • Pause your order.
  • Make contact with you via the registered contact details to make recommendations and suggest changes.
  • Provide you with a revised design for your approval.
  • Release the order for printing and dispatch.

Whilst we make every endeavor to review product orders it is still the responsibility of the person placing the initial order to make sure that the design meets their requirements - Aquatint cannot be held responsible.


What logos can I use?

You can use any logo that you wish but you may want to check with the school before using the school logo (see below). If you have a PTA logo you may want to use this or you could use the school/PTA logo with some words, as an example you may want to order back-packs for a specific school trip so want the school logo and the name of the trip and date. The design tool is very flexible and will help you preview what the product will look like. The Aquatint team are also on hand to provide any help and assistance.

Do I need permission from the school to use their logo?

We suggest that you obtain written permission from the Head Teacher before using the logo. The school may also have contracts or agreements with other companies to provide school branded items such as school uniform, school bags or other items that you may want to confirm do not restrict what you can order.

What logos work best?

The higher the resolution of the image that you are using, the better and clearer it will appear on your items. You can use a monochrome (one colour) image or multi-colour although multi-colour printing is not available on every item and will tend to cost more.

Can I add a different child’s name to each item?

No, this service is intended to provide bulk items with the exactly the same images. You can however include a list of names as part of the design. If you want school hoodies or other items that are individualised for each child we suggest looking at our suppliers directory for suitable suppliers.


How much do you charge for postage?

All postage costs are included within the product price so there is nothing additional to pay.

How long does a typical order take to arrive?

Each item is printed individually so the delivery dates can vary. Delivery times are listed against each product. Where you place orders for multiple items, each will be dispatched separately when ready.

Are there options for an express order or to get my items quicker?

No, all items are prepared and dispatched as shown.

Can I return items?

No, bespoke items are printed with the logo you requested and so cannot be returned. Please see the terms and conditions at

Can I order less than the minimum order?

No, the minimum order volumes are set and mean we can offer a great price for each product. If the volume is not available in the amounts you need. We suggest ordering more and storing them for future events.

How do I pay for my items?

You can pay using a Debit and credit card or PayPal. Only online payment methods are accepted.

Where can orders be sent?

Orders can be posted to either the school or to your home address or another address of your choosing.

How are orders sent?

Orders are sent using recognised UK courier companies. Items will need to be signed for upon delivery.

What can I do if I am not happy with the quality of the product or the logo design?

We will work to try and resolve all issues received. When uploading and designing your product it is your responsibility to make sure that the design is suitable. We strive to accurately describe the item so you have confidence in what you are purchasing.
